How many kinds of PVC-U Windows and Doors are there?

There are many different types of PVC-U windows and doors available today, and while they all provide the same key benefits described in the ‘Understanding PVC-U Windows and Doors’ section, they are all slightly different in what they do, and how they work.

The ‘vertical sliding’ or ‘sliding sash’ window has typically been the most difficult window to replace in PVC-U, however these days this type of window is readily available and is ideal particularly if you are living in a conservation or ‘sensitive’ area.
The windows perform all the traditional functions of the original windows, with both upper and lower sashes sliding, both upper and lower sashes tilting in for cleaning purposes, and are fitted with traditional hardware and period glazing bars and decorative windows and doors.
After a final check to ensure your house is left clean and tidy, you will be left to enjoy the warmth and comfort of your new double glazed windows.
