Tenant's Charter

Any window supplier ‘worth its salt’ should have a ‘Tenant's Charter’. This is effectively a code of practice which aims to minimise disruption to residents in occupation.

This code of practice for working in residents’ homes should include numerous guidelines to guarantee high standards of professionalism, both with regard to dealing with you, the tenant, and looking after your home during a refurbishment programme.
Ask your window system supplier to supply a copy of their code of practice before making any decision on whether or not to engage their services.
